Himachal Pradesh Transfers 17 IAS, 22 HAS Officers; SDM Oshin Sharma Moved to Ayush Department

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 17 IAS and 22 HAS officers across the state. Among those transferred is Shimla SDM Oshin Sharma, who has been appointed as Joint Director in the Ayush Department.

Sharma had earlier come under scrutiny after sharing a promotional video endorsing a gym supplement on her social media accounts in February. The post sparked criticism, with several users alleging that a serving government officer should not promote private commercial products, citing possible violations of service conduct rules.

As the controversy gained attention, the state government reportedly reprimanded Sharma, while the Shimla Deputy Commissioner also issued her a warning. She deactivated her social media accounts on March 2 and returned after nearly 44 days.

Her latest posting, announced as part of the state's administrative reshuffle, has once again brought the officer into the spotlight.
