Congress Leader Pawan Khera Nominated to Rajya Sabha from Karnataka
Calling the Rajya Sabha nomination a “great honour,” Pawan Khera thanked the Congress leadership for their trust.
Congress leader Pawan Khera has expressed gratitude after being nominated to the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka. Khera thanked Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, along with senior party leaders K. C. Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi and Jairam Ramesh for their trust and support.
Calling the nomination an honour, Khera said he hopes to live up to the confidence reposed in him by the party leadership. He also remarked that his political “tapasya” would be complete only when Rahul Gandhi takes oath as the Prime Minister of India in 2029.
