Prakash Raj Extends Support to AISA Hunger Strike at Jantar Mantar on Day 14

The indefinite hunger strike organised by the All India Students' Association (AISA) at Jantar Mantar entered its 14th day on Saturday, while the accompanying sit-in protest reached its 21st day.

Actor Prakash Raj visited the protest site along with former Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Isaac and CPI(M) Polit Bureau member and Tripura Opposition leader Jitendra Chaudhary. The three leaders met the hunger strikers and expressed support for their demands.

According to AISA, the health of the four protesters—Neha, Aameen, Deepak and Manish—has continued to deteriorate due to the prolonged fast. The student organisation claimed that the protesters have experienced falling glucose levels and significant weight loss.

AISA reiterated that the indefinite hunger strike will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns. The organisation has maintained that it will continue its protest until its demands are addressed.

The claims regarding the protesters' health and the continuation of the hunger strike are based on AISA's statement.
