Opposition Demands Education Minister's Resignation as Student Protest Over Paper Leak Intensifies

New Delhi: The ongoing student protest over the alleged paper leak has escalated, with demonstrators insisting that the agitation will continue unless the government addresses their three key demands. Among them, the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has emerged as the central demand.

Former Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said the controversy has only one solution: fixing accountability at the highest level. "There is only one solution. First, accountability must be fixed for Dharmendra Pradhan, and then the paper leak mafia should be completely eliminated," she said.

Responding to the Opposition's criticism, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi challenged Opposition parties to come forward with a concrete proposal instead of making political accusations. "Let the Opposition bring a proposal," he said.

Congress MP Shyam Kumar Barve also weighed in, saying the government should accept responsibility. "You take Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, and we will give you the credit," he remarked, reiterating the Opposition's demand for ministerial accountability.

The exchange reflects the deep political divide over the paper leak controversy, as student protests continue to put pressure on the government for action against those responsible and reforms to ensure transparency in competitive examinations.
