Abhijeet Dipke Says CJP's Fight Has Only Begun
CJP founder says the protest may be over, but the movement for reforms will continue.
New Delhi: A day after the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) ended its 37-day protest, founder Abhijeet Dipke said the movement has entered a new phase, calling its recent victory "just the beginning."
In a video message shared on Sunday, Dipke thanked supporters who stood with the CJP throughout the agitation at Jantar Mantar, describing their commitment as the driving force behind the campaign. He also acknowledged critics, saying their feedback helped the movement improve.
The CJP-led protest, which began over the NEET paper leak controversy, gained nationwide attention as students demanded accountability and reforms in the examination system. The agitation concluded after the Centre accepted key demands, including the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and assured that no action would be taken against protesters.
Reflecting on the intense 37-day campaign, Dipke said he was finally able to wake up without the constant pressure of planning the next step. He also revealed that he had been battling typhoid during the final days of the protest and apologised for not being able to personally thank everyone at Jantar Mantar.
While the protest has ended, Dipke made it clear that the CJP will continue its efforts, saying the fight for meaningful education reforms is far from over.
